Hi Chris, it's not true that it is not possible to export 3D models from EasyEDA. Open the PCB and from the File menu choose Export > 3D model(obj). Unfortunately sometimes the normals of the PCB are inverted. But anyways: I find EasyEDA much more pleasant to work with than KiCad, so I'm happy that there is this function.
